Samsung Silently Launches Galaxy Grand Neo

Another phone has just joined the Samsung Galaxy line, but without any hype at all. First spotted by UnwiredView on Samsung’s site, there is a new phone called the Galaxy Grand Neo that has been listed with no previous word from the company.

With HSPA+ 21Mbps radios, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, a VGA front-facing camera, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 5.01 inch display featuring an 800 x 480-pixel resolution, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, Bluetooth 4.0, and a 2,100mAh battery, the only thing missing on this entry-level Android device is support for LTE, which will probably keep it away from major U.S. carriers.

The phone is so far only making its debut in the Eastern Mediterranean, as it is only listed on Samsung’s Levant site. There is no word on any other markets right now, though a Dutch retailer has it listed for 260 Euros as well.

The Galaxy Note Neo, a cheaper alternative to the Note 3, will likely soon join this device.
